We are two hemp growers in Rutherford County, NC, who came together over a love of cultivating our favorite plant. We want to source the highest quality cannabis  medicine for ourselves, our family, our friends, and everyone else! With the support of an amazing community we are excited to share our craft hemp extracts and smokable flower.

As a co-working couple we share a passion for the medicinal, spiritual, and agricultural art of growing cannabis. This passion drives our efforts to stay on top of latest research and knowledge to better produce large amounts of quality, organic CBD buds. It also inspires dedication to continued education, both from the latest horticultural research, and from the hemp plants themselves.

Our experiences have lead us to be loyal to certain methods of growing.  We raise our plant babies organically, without the use of bottled nutrients, salts, or other chemical additives. While these make plants grow quickly, they demolish life in the soil, making them unsustainable and expensive.

We are inspired by experts in the industry such as Jeff Lowenfels, Tad Hussey, Ed Rosenthal, and Jorge Cervantes. From these awesome influences among others, we've learned a simple rule- feed the soil, trust the plant to feed itself.  To put it simply, bacteria and fungi eat nutrients from the soil and are eaten in turn by larger Protozoa and arthropods.  Through their waste, nutrients are released into the root zone where they are readily available to the plant. This is a summary of a beautifully complex system that allowed plants to thrive long before us humans got involved!

Amendments are essential to the soil health. Worm castings, compost tea, and other amendments based on soil tests are cost effective when compared to liquid nutrients because you’re not paying to ship “water” around!

We love brewing compost tea! It can be as simple as worm castings, molasses, and water. These brews serve as a microbial inoculation to increase nutrient availability and make the plants so crowded with beneficial life that the bad bacteria and fungi don't have room to get established.

Ultimately, these methods are aligned with how plants work naturally. They are cost effective,

friendly to our land, and friendly to the larger ecosystem.
